'Tis the Season! With the West River Valley Chorus

The West River Valley Chorus, a vibrant group of singers under the direction of Ken Olsson, will be presenting their annual Christmas concerts.

They will be singing a variety of seasonal music including Harry Simeone's arrangements of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' and 'Do You Hear What I Hear?', the 'Hallelujah Chorus' from Handel's "The Messiah", which will be entertaining for all ages. The concerts will be on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Wardsboro Town Hall and on Sunday, at 3 p.m. at the The Townshend Church on the Common. Both concert venues are handicap accessible.

The concerts are always free but we do appreciate donations. Each concert will be followed by a reception giving you a chance to visit with the chorus members and others from the audience.

There will be two concerts next June. For more information contact Pokey Lyman at 802-365-7964 or Marge Johnson at 802-874-4366.
