KEENE, N.H. (AP) - Gov. Maggie Hassan's husband is taking his "Help Out New Hampshire" volunteerism tour to Keene State College and the Claremont Soup Kitchen.

At Keene State College on Wednesday, Tom Hassan will meet with student volunteers to discuss their work in educational partnerships with Marlborough, Hinsdale, Winchester and other local school districts. The program immerses teacher candidates in school communities to help teacher-candidate development strategies.

At the Claremont Soup Kitchen, Hassan plans to thank volunteers for their efforts, tour the facility and eat lunch with 10 volunteers who help pack food boxes and serve meals.

Hassan's volunteerism tour includes visits to each of New Hampshire's 10 counties.
