Town Schools Theatre takes to the stage

For the third time participants in the Town Schools Theatre will take to the stage at the New England Youth Theater, 100 Flat St. On May 13 to 15 they will perform "An Acrobat, A Bus Driver, and an Intergalactic Overlord." Town Schools Theatre is a partnership between the New England Youth Theatre (NEYT) and Academy, Green Street and Oak Grove elementary schools. Selected students in grades 4 to 6 from each school have been participating in a free after school program since early March. The unified program was created so that all students in the public elementary schools can have equal arts opportunities.

The play is written and directed by NEYT's Education Director, Jonny Flood with assistance from Jessa Rowan and James Gelter.

Performances are Friday, May 13 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, May 14 at 3 and 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 15 at 2 p.m.

All tickets are $6 and available at the door or at, or at NEYT on Wednesdays from 12 to 5 p.m.
