TV awards presented


WILMINGTON -- Receiving awards for the Twin Valley varsity boys basketball team, which made it all the way to the Division 4 state final, were: Cade Nesbitt (Coaches Award), Colin Lozito (MVP) and Dal Nesbitt (Top Offensive).

Twin Valley's varsity girls basketball awards went to Hannah Swanson (Top Rebounder), Sammy Cunningham-Darrah (Top Defender), Kirra Courchesne (Most Improved) and Savannah Nesbitt (Top Free Throw Shooter).

The junior varsity basketball awards were presented to: Girls -- Tabitha Felisko (Defensive), Maya Holschuh (Most Improved) and Kaylea Niles (Coaches). Boys -- Brett Swanson (Rookie of the Year) and Kyle Murdock (Coaches Award).

Colin Lozito, Dal Nesbitt and Savannah Nesbitt made the All Marble Valley League's First Team. Making the MVL Second Team are: Colton Butler, Hannah Swanson, Sammy Cunningham-Darrah and Cade Nesbitt.

Chris Brown and Buddy Hayford were both named MVL Coach of the Year. Brown was also named VBCA Division 3-4 State Coach of the Year.

Sam Molner was selected as one of the VBCA Dream Dozen. VBCA Senior Classic players from Twin Valley include Sammy Cunningham-Darrah, Savannah Nesbitt, Hannah Swanson, Colin Lozito, Dal Nesbitt and Cade Nesbitt.
