TV girls top Terriers
WESTMINSTER >> Tayler Courchesne (13 points, 7 rebounds) and Kirra Courchesne (12 points, 7 rebounds) powered the Twin Valley varsity girls basketball team to a 43-29 victory over Bellows Falls on Monday evening.
Teya Johnson scored eight points and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds while Kendell Howe snagged eight boards and scored five points for the 11-8 Wildcats, who took a 27-10 lead to the break. Brianna Rafus hauled down five caroms.
Molly and Hannah Kelly each scored eight points to pace the Terriers.
Division 3 Boys Playoffs
The No. 5 Twin Valley boys basketball team will host No. 12 Peoples Academy tonight at 7 in a Division 3 playdown game in Whitingham. The admission prices are: $6 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
