Twin State Soccer: McDonald, Hicks to play for Vermont
BRATTLEBORO >> The 42nd annual Lions Cup Soccer Games will be held on Saturday, July 16 at Castleton University.
Vermont and New Hampshire teams of graduated seniors will face off, with the women's game starting at 4 p.m. And the men's game beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Leland & Gray midfielder Owen McDonald and Twin Valley forward Justin Hicks are both on the Vermont men's team. That squad will be coached by Brian Buczek of Stowe.
The money that is raised from these games will go to the Lions Charities in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Sight and hearing are priorities for Lions Charities and for individual clubs in the two states. One-hundred percent of the profits will go to help people in Vermont and New Hampshire.
