Vacation Bible School and an Ice Cream Social planned at Hinsdale church in July

HINSDALE, N.H. -- A Vacation Bible School is planned at the First Congregational Church at 36 Main St. in Hinsdale for the week of July 15 to 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The theme is the "Wild West." There will be pony rides, panning for gold, a blacksmith shop, games, food, music and more. The Vacation Bible School is free and open to "kids of all ages!"

As part of the church’s ongoing 250th Anniversary celebration, there will be a Community Ice Cream Social on Saturday, July 20, from noon to 5 p.m. there will be a dunk tank (where attendees may baptize the pastor), food, music by The Road to Redemption of Brattleboro, Vt., games, and more. The social is free and open to all.
