VBCA Dream Dozen players are announced


BRATTLEBORO >> Twin Valley's Skyler Boyd will be introduced along with 47 other underclass standouts when the Dream Dozen teams are announced during the Senior All Star Basketball Games on March 12 in Windsor.

Other Division 3-4 Dream Dozen players are: Williamstown's Brandon Carrier, Lake Region's Riley Urie, Winooski's Eddy Lamson, Craftsbury's Austin Masi, Hazen's Denis Lecours, South Royalton's Nicholas Howe, Proctor's Nick Ojala, Twinfield's Jordan Moore, Hazen's Jake Gilcris, Rivendell's Owen Pelletier, Oxbow's Ben Emerson, West Rutland's Brooke Raiche, MSJ's Jenna Eaton, Williamstown's Jayme Ducharme, Stowe's Emma Buonanno, Hazen's Letty Hill, Richford's Sadie Fuller, Rivendell's Riley Thomson, Northfield's Gabrielle Cicio, Thetford's Regan Covey, Cabot's Ashley Celley, Chelsea's Kiana Johnson, and Hazen's Becca Whipple.

Women's Rec Basketball

BRATTLEBORO >> In a women's basketball league game on Monday at the Gibson-Aiken Center, Houghton mauled Marina, 60-36. Kate Margaitis went off for 19 points to pace the victors, while Annie Holiday (16 points), Anna Lashway (14), and Bri Smith (9) also had hot hands. Ashley Gomarlo and Malaika Puffer scored 17 and 11 points respectively to lead Marina.
