Verdi in Vermont' at Grafton Church
Southern Vermont Lyric Theatre (SVeLT) presents "Verdi in Vermont" at the Grafton Church on Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m. We invite everyone to come enjoy an evening of some of the most beautiful arias and scenes composed by one of the greatest operatic composers of all time: Giuseppe Verdi.
This year, co-founders Ken and Julie Olsson will be joined by some amazing talent, including international opera singers James Anderson and Stan Norsworthy. Making their SVeLT debuts will be New York soprano Amy Suznovich, Boston tenor Joshua Collier, Vermont conductor/master teacher and baritone Cailin Marcel Manson. Soprano Michelle DeCoste from Connecticut and baritone Steve Curylo from Springfield, Mass., return once again to offer a duet from La Traviata. We will also hear from mezzo-soprano Geralyn Donohue, from Chester. The Grafton Church is located across from the Grafton Inn. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. a suggested donation of $15.
