Vermont co-editors to lead evening ’moment for peace’ at Centre Church

BRATTLEBORO -- Presented in a clear, elegant format, "Questions for the Dalai Lama: Answers on Love, Success, Happiness and the Meaning of Life" poses universal questions, giving answers from the Dalai Lama himself, assembled from quotes, articles, speeches, and written works directly attributed to His Holiness.

The two editors, Dede Cummings and Travis Hellstrom, will be joined by Lauren Alderfer for a "moment for peace" on Friday, Sept. 5, at 5 p.m. at Centre Congregational Church, 193 Main St., in Brattleboro. They will give a brief presentation about their book and Alderfer will do a guided meditation.

Organized into several themes, "Questions for the Dalai Lama" touches on topics ranging from love and tragedy, to compassion and happiness. Drawing on the enduring words of His Holiness, this inspirational book is for anyone seeking greater fulfillment and a life informed by compassion and wisdom.

The little hardcover book is part of a series distributed nationally by Random House called "Little Book, Big Idea," and is beautifully designed with Tibetan ornaments in sections and built around a simple, informal question and answer format, "Questions for the Dalai Lama" is easy to understand and share.
