Vermont Community Foundation offers grants for urgent needs

MONTPELIER, VT. >> The Vermont Community Foundation says funding is now available from its Special and Urgent Needs program to help non-profits meet unexpected expenses that affect their ability to meet their goals.

The foundation says a SUN grant of up to $5,000 can help an organization manage an unbudgeted, unforeseen, and time-sensitive emergency or take advantage of an unanticipated opportunity to enhance its work.

Priority will be given to organizations working to meet basic human needs such as food, shelter and health.

Details can be found on the Vermont Community Foundation's website.
