Vermont man dies after crashing into carnival ride


RANDOLPH >> Vermont State Police say a 56-year-old man is dead after he crashed his Jeep into a carnival ride in Randolph.

Officers were called to the Randolph Spring Carnival at a church around 7:15 a.m. Thursday.

Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that David Miles suffered a medical emergency before his car went off the road into the lawn of the church, crashing into the ride.

He died at the hospital shortly after. No one else was injured.
