Vermont State Police gets criminal investigations head

WATERBURY (AP) - The Vermont State Police have a new commander of the bureau of criminal investigations.

Major Glenn Hall, Jr., has been promoted to captain as the troop A commander.

Hall will replace Major Ed Ledo, who is retiring after serving for nearly 28 years.

Hall has spent 14 years in various positions within the criminal division, including as commander of the narcotics investigation unit, a detective lieutenant in the bureau of criminal investigations and commander of the special investigations section.
