Vesper Service set at Halifax Union Society

HALIFAX CENTER -- This Sunday’s Vesper Service on July 6 will begin at 6 p.m. in the historic Halifax Union Society church in the old part of town up the hill east of the town office and school. All are welcome, and refreshments will be served.

Foodstuffs are welcome for transport to the Deerfield Food Pantry. "Small change" is also being collected to buy refugee supplies.

This week’s scripture stress that the Lord is compassionate and faithful to all. We need only to persist with high hope. "Come unto me, and rest." The Rev. Dr. Marcia Dorey will lead the non-denominational service of prayer, song, and reflection.
