BRATTLEBORO — The Windham County Humane Society raised more than $35,000 during its 15th annual Walk for Animals on Sept. 23.

"We really want to thank the community for coming out and supporting us," said Annie Guion, executive director. "It was definitely our best walk ever."

Sponsors for the Walk for Animals included One Stop Pet Supply, Brattleboro Savings & Loan, Brattleboro Auto Mall, and C&S Wholesale Grocers.

"We would also like to thank our amazing host venue, Grafton Village Cheese Company, our top sponsor, One Stop Country Pet Supply, and our wonderful, hard-working volunteers, and all of the incredible individuals and teams who raised funds for animals in need and came out in force to walk for them," said Guion.

The 16th Walk for Animals is scheduled for Sept. 22, 2018.
