WATCH LIVE: Vermont gov., Attorney General to talk nuke plant

MONTPELIER (AP) - Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin and Attorney General William Sorrell are going to be talking about developments in the negotiations with the owner of the closing Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant.

The state has been negotiating with the plant's owner, Entergy Corp., over details of how long it will take to clean up the Vernon site after the plant closes at the end of next year.

The company announced in August that it is no longer economically viable to operate the 41-year-old plant and it is going to close the plant.

Shumlin and Sorrell will discuss the developments at 2:45 Monday afternoon.
