Wildcats, BF stickers remain undefeated

WILMINGTON — Trailing 3-1, the Twin Valley varsity boys soccer team battled back for a 7-3 victory over Green Mountain on Tuesday.

Logan Park had a hat trick and also set up a goal for the winners. Jack McHale tallied twice, while Colin McHale and James McGovern also scored. Jack McHale finished with a team-high three assists.

Dylan Dupuis, Finn Fisher, McGovern and Park all had one helper.

Twin Valley keepers Logan Boyd and Josh Carpenter-O'Hearn combined for five saves. Keegan Ewald made 15 stops for the Chieftains (2-6).

The 8-0 Wildcats will play at Otter Valley on Thursday at 4 p.m.

Field Hockey

WESTMINSTER — Bellows Falls walloped Woodstock, 7-0, on Tuesday.

Abbe Cravinho completed her hat trick in the first 10 minutes and the Terriers took a 3-0 lead to the break. Reaghan Baldasaro tallied twice, Dani Marchica scored on a penalty corner, and Madison Streeter made a nice run for an insurance goal.

It was the 32nd consecutive victory for the BF stickers (9-0), who will host Windsor on Friday.
