Wilmington's Pettee Library hosts 'book on a stick'

WILMINGTON >> On Monday, July 11, the Pettee Memorial Library will host a StoryWalk at 10:30 a.m. at Molly Stark State Park. Participants will be treated to "a book on a stick" and a nature craft.

Also on Monday, at 4:30 p.m., the Friends of the Library will host its monthly meeting, at the library.

On Tuesday, July 12, the library will host "Reading the Landscape," with Kaitlin O'Shea, of Preservation in Pink. She will be talking about the landscape around us and why historic preservation matters.

On July 13, at 6:30 p.m., the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum will be presenting live animals and stories at Woodford State Park. July 14 at 4 p.m. is Tech Time. Drop in to the library to discuss (and fix) your tech problems. On July 15, at 10 a.m., participants will learn how to make their own cleaning supplies. On July 16, the library will host its annual book sale on the library lawn from noon to 7 p.m. The Village Stroll is scheduled for 5 p.m. that same day.
