Windham Community Chapel invites children to Vacation Bible School

DUMMERSTON -- A children’s summer event called Weird Animals Vacation Bible School will be hosted at Windham Community Chapel from Monday, June 23, to Friday, June 27.

The children will learn about animals, some of God’s most creative creations. They will participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, and make and dig into yummy treats.

The children will also experience cool Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them they are one of a kind, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they will take home and play with all summer long.

Also, the children will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with The Tail End -- a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they have learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 11:40 a.m.

Kids at Weird Animals VBS will join an international mission effort to share God’s love by providing water for school children in India. Weird Animals VBS is for children ages 3 to 12 years old and will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The week of fun will end with a Carnival on Friday evening from 5 to 7.
