BRATTLEBORO -- Relay for Life, Team Christopher invites people to come "Dance into Spring" with the Wyld Nightz Band on Saturday, from 7 to 11 p.m., at the Brattleboro Fraternal Order of Eagles on Chickering Drive.

This dance is a benefit for Team Christopher, named after Chris Wilson from Newfane who was diagnosed in 2009 at age 13 with leukemia. Chris has undergone treatment and is now in remission and doing well. The team is made up of family and friends, who support cancer awareness and research. This year’s Windham County Relay for Life will be held June 21 at Brattleboro Union High School.

The Wyld Nightz Band is a six-piece classic rock dance band, featuring Matt Martyn on bass and vocals, Jeff Brewer on guitar and lead vocals, Tony Speranza on keyboards and vocals, Anthony Speranza on saxophones and vocals, Michael McKinney on guitar and trumpet and Fred Epstein on drums.

There will be a 50/50 raffle, munchies, cash bar and dancing. Wear purple and be entered in a drawing for a prize. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Baker’s Hallmark on Putney Road, the Newfane Greenhouse on Route 30 or at the door.
