THETFORD, Vt. (AP) — Police are investigating a crash that killed a male pedestrian in the town of Thetford, Vermont.

The crash was reported just after 8 a.m. Thursday. Dennis Devaux, 65, of Thetford, was walking along Latham Road when he was struck by a vehicle, police said. He died at the crash site.

The driver of the car, a 17-year-old female, and a juvenile passenger were not hurt. The driver stopped to help and waited for first responders, police said.
