BRATTLEBORO — Windham World Affairs Council and 118 Elliot will present a program on "The Jerusalem Peacebuilders' Vermont Leadership Institute" from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at 118 Elliot St.

Founded in 2011 by two Brattleboro residents, the Rev. Canon Nicholas and Dorothy Porter, Jerusalem Peacebuilders is an interfaith, non-profit organization with a mission to create a better future for humanity across religions, cultures, and nationalities. The Jerusalem Peacebuilders' Vermont Leadership Institute is a program that brings together American, Israeli and Palestinian young adults with the focus of creating a new generation of peacebuilders and leaders. The Institute will present a screening of the Israeli film, "Within the Eye of the Storm," to be followed by small group discussions with community members led by pairs of Israeli and Palestinian institute participants. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with the film beginning at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
