Two people had to be extricated from a vehicle after it left the roadway and snapped a utility pole on Route 5 in Putney on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. The people were transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. Dartmouth Hitchcock Advance Response Team was originally called to land at Santa Land's parking lot but was determined not to be needed. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Vermont State Police.
PUTNEY — Two people had to be extricated from a vehicle after it left the roadway and snapped a utility pole on Route 5 on Wednesday.
The people were transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. Dartmouth Hitchcock Advance Response Team was originally called to land at Santa Land’s parking lot but was determined not to be needed.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Vermont State Police.
