BRATTLEBORO — Brattleboro Memorial Hospital went into a lockdown on Monday.

“A disgruntled patient made a threat to our staff,” said Gina Pattison, director of development and marketing for the hospital. “In an abundance of caution we placed ourselves on lockdown until police could assess the situation.”

The lockdown went into effect at 4:05 p.m. Monday and was cleared 45 minutes later.
