KEENE, N.H. — The Keene Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at a residence at 344 West Street on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Residents in the house told police the suspect displayed and discharged a firearm during the course of the robbery. According to the Keene Sentinel, $2,400 in cash was stolen during the robbery.

According to a press release from the Keene Police Department, the suspect is a black man, approximately 5'7" with short hair and a short beard. He fled the scene in a silver Ford Escape with unknown Massachusetts plates, driven by a white female. The vehicle is believed to have left the scene traveling west on West Street.

None of the residents were injured in the robbery.

With the assistance of the New Hampshire State Police, an extensive sweep of the area for the suspect yielded no results.

April 1

- The New Hampshire State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 in Chesterfield. As a result, Jason Goode, 36, of Spofford, was cited with operating a vehicle with a revoked or suspended license, driving under the influence and exceeding the 55-mph speed limit by at least 26 mph.

- The New Hampshire State Police took into protective custody Tyler Hamilton, 24, of Hinsdale, N.H.

April 2

- The New Hampshire State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 119 in Hinsdale. As a result, William Bostwick, 34, of Guilford, Vt., was cited with operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license.

April 5

- The New Hampshire State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Ash Brook Court in Keene. As a result, Vikki Putnam, 35, of Brattleboro, Vt., was cited with operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle.

April 6

- The New Hampshire State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Upper Walpole Road in Walpole. As a result, Amelia Mispel, 29, of Walpole, was cited with operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license.

- At just before 9:30 a.m., troopers with the Vermont State Police were dispatched to Pratt Road in Putney for a suspicious motor vehicle complaint. Upon arrival the defendant's vehicle was identified by the complainant and was observed leaving the area. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and Christopher J. Scinto, 26, of Rutland, arrested and cited with driving under the influence of drugs.

April 12

- The Brattleboro Police Department came into contact with Jonathan Gray, 44, of Brattleboro, on Putney Road. While dealing with Gray it was found he had an active warrant. Gray was arrested and transported to the Brattleboro Police Department.

April 13

- Sometime during the night hours of April 11 and 12, a vehicle was vandalized in a driveway on Putney Mountain Road in Brookline. The vehicle was pushed from the location it was parked in. A vehicle was believed to have been used to push the victim's vehicle. The victim's vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper during the incident. Anyone with information about any suspicious activity in the area or information on this specific incident is encouraged to contact the Vermont State Police at 802-722-4600.
