To the editor: The board and staff of the Winston Prouty Center for Child and Family Development offer our deepest thanks to our friends who participated in our "Par for the Cause" fundraiser on June 26 and 27. We are delighted that so many people took us up on the chance to play a family-friendly game of disc golf over a whimsical nine-hole course, and to join us for a picnic featuring great music by DJ Jay Cook and wonderful food by A Bite to Eat and The Vermont Gelato Company.

The event would not have been a success without our generous event sponsors: Park Place Financial Advisors and the Trust Company of Vermont with additional support from Allstate's Materials Group, Bellco Excavation, Bert's Appliance, Brattleboro Country Club, Brattleboro Hearing Center, Brattleboro Primary Care, CWI Print + Brand, Dead River Co., Edward Jones, Europa IT, Fenton Auto Group, Goodenough Rubbish, Grace Cottage Hospital, Gragen Property Maintenance, High Five Adventure Learning Center, Howard Printing, Lawton Floor Design, Mathes Hulme Builders, Northeast Solar, Phillips Dunn Shriver & Carroll Law, Professional Dental Care, Silver Forest of Vermont, The Porch, The Richards Group, The Wright Supplier, Twombly Wealth Management, Vermont Country Deli, Westbrook Court Apartments, Wright Construction and Ziter Taylor Real Estate.
