BRATTLEBORO -- The Cotton MIll Open Studio event celebrates its 15th anniversary on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and 8, throughout Brattleboro’s legendary Cotton Mill.

This year there are more events, vendors, goods and services to explore than ever. On Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the doors and halls are open for folks to experience the hospitality not only of the artists, musicians, bakers, cooks, circus performers and craftspeople of the Cotton Mill, but also of other local participating vendors. In addition, there will be a display of artwork by students K-6 from Green Street, Oak Grove and Academy Schools.

This year the Cotton Mill Open Studios boasts approximately 50 participating businesses offering treats, performances and holiday gift items for sale. There will bevolunteers on hand to help guide you around the buildings and floors. Register at the event to be entered in a free raffle to win a food basket or cpurchase tickets to win other door prize items and services.

* FIRST FLOOR -- True North Granola, Just Pies, Owl Food, Big Picture Farm, Ray Ruseckas and Entera -- Tristan Toleno.

* SECOND FLOOR -- Michael Poster, Zoe Poster, Sidehill Farm, Laughing Lizard Studio, Melinda LaBarge, Nonesuch Garden, Lisa Flanders Jewelry, Vermont Jazz Center, Sunmeadow Alpacas, Peter Deyo Custom Picture Framing, Marble Meadows, Robb Family Farm, Oak Meadow, Karicature King, Caitlin Burch Glassworks, Heartfelt Vermont, Venus of Vermont, Storymatic, Brattleboro Elementary School Art (art displayed on the second and third floors represents work from students in grades K- 6 attending Green Street, Oak Grove and Academy Schools.

* New England Center for Circus Arts: Take a free sample class and try juggling, trapeze, aerial fabric and more. 11 a.m. for ages 1 1Ž2 - 7 years with parents; noon for ages 8 to adult (a parent or guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 18 yrs.)

* Open Music Collective: Noon -- Jam Session; 1:30 p.m. -- Wednesday Eve Ensemble (jazz standards from American songbook); 2:30 p.m. -- Scott Sizer (jazz vocals); 3 p.m. -- Gabbi Walton; 7 p.m. -- End of Semester Ensemble Concert

* SoBo - Dance and Movement Center: 1 to 4: p.m. -- View a dance rehearsal; 4 to 5 p.m. -- View a fencing class

* Venus of Vermont: 2 p.m. -- Making pressed eye shadow demonstration

* Karicature King: All day -- Have your caricature done for $15.

* Stephen Procter Ceramics: All day -- throwing demonstrations and large pots in progress.
