KEENE, N.H. — The Bellows Falls varsity field hockey team rallied to beat Keene 3-1 Thursday to improve to 8-0 and lock up the top seed for the Division 1 Tournament.

"It's pretty amazing (to earn the No. 1 seed). I'm excited and ecstatic to be able to do as well as we're doing," said BF coach Bethany Coursen. "We lost four amazing defenders from last year's team."

Trailing 1-0, the Terriers scored three goals in the fourth quarter to win it. Maya Waryas tallied twice and Ashlin Maxfield also delivered.

Assists were credited to Grace Wilkinson, Sadie Scott and Jules McDermid. Jaia Caron had at least 10 amazing saves, according to Coursen.

The Terriers will host Burr and Burton on Friday.
