WESTMINSTER — Ryan Kelly poured in 23 points to help the Bellows Falls varsity boys basketball team to an easy 64-43 win over Leland & Gray on Tuesday evening.
Ten different players scored for the Terriers, who took a 40-28 lead to the intermission. Dylan Clark was next in line with 11 points, while Griffin Waryas and Jamison Nystrom chipped in with eight points apiece.
Bellows Falls (4-2) will play at rival Springfield on Thursday night at 7. Leland & Gray (0-7) will play at Long Trail on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
Girls Basketball
WINDSOR — Olivia Rockwood scored 23 points, including five makes from beyond the arc, and Windsor walloped visiting Brattleboro 61-36 on Tuesday.
"We are having trouble in our half-court offense and will have to make some adjustments and changes going forward. We know what
we are doing, we just can't execute it," noted BUHS coach Chris Worden.
Alyssa Scherlin ended up with a dozen points and seven rebounds to pace the purple and white. Rachael Rooney and Lauryn Sargent contributed with eight points each.
The 2-4 Colonels will play at South Burlington (2-3) on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
In Sunapee, Hinsdale rolled to a 63-40 victory over the host Lakers. Delaney Wilcox (21 points), Megan Roberts (17) and Olivia Pangelinan (14) did the damage for the 5-1 Pacers.
