Bellows Falls girls zipped by Randolph

WESTMINSTER — Izzy Stack, Leanna Mager and Madi Pencek all had quality chances for the Bellows Falls varsity girls soccer team during a 2-0 loss to Randolph on Wednesday.



"Jessica Roberts was everywhere tonight," noted BF coach John Broadley. "Birgess Schemm was bringing balls out of the back and playing to feet."



The Ghosts took a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick and added an insurance goal in the second half.



The 0-4 Terriers will play at Green Mountain on Saturday at 11 a.m.



Boys Soccer



WILMINGTON — Colin McHale exploded for four goals and one assist to power Twin Valley to a 9-0 triumph over Springfield on Wednesday.



Lucas Messing tallied twice and had one assist, while Jack McHale chipped in with one goal and two helpers. Owen Grinold and Gunnar Nilsen also scored.



Logan Boyd (2 saves) earned the shutout for the 3-0 Wildcats.
