WESTMINSTER — The Bellows Falls varsity girls basketball team won its eighth consecutive game, beating Rivendell 54-23 on Monday evening.

"Our defense did a really good job at holding them to 11 points in the first half and 12 points in the second half. We did a good job finishing in transition, which we will need to do against a speedy Brattleboro team on Wednesday," noted BF coach Todd Wells.

Taylor Goodell poured in 17 points to pace the 8-4 Terriers. Maya Waryas and Molly Potter added 12 and nine points respectively.

The 4-8 Colonels, who beat Springfield 49-35 on Monday, will host Bellows Falls on Wednesday night at 7.
