BMH welcomes new cardiologist


BRATTLEBORO — Carl Szot, Jr., MD has joined the staff at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital's Center for Cardiovascular Health.

Szot is a member of the Cheshire Medical Center staff, and joins BMH as part of an ongoing collaboration with Cheshire Medical Center, a member of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health system.

Szot graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, NY, and served his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester Primary Care Program and served as the chief resident of the program at Rochester's Genesee Hospital. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the State University of New York at Buffalo and has been a Dartmouth-Hitchcock cardiologist at Cheshire Medical Center since 2000 and hospitalist at Cheshire Medical Center since 2014. Szot will now split his time as a cardiologist at BMH and at Cheshire Medical Center.
