BPD investigates assault on Clark Street
BRATTLEBORO — Detectives with the Brattleboro Police Department are seeking the public's help in identifying two men who assaulted a 19-year-old woman on Clark Street on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
According to a press release from BPD, the woman was assaulted in her residence by two men wearing ski masks.
The two men allegedly struck her multiple times in the head with handguns before fleeing the residence.
The victim was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital by Rescue Inc. for treatment of serious injuries and then later transported out of state.
The investigation is ongoing and there are no suspects at this time.
Police don't believe this was a random act and because it was an isolated incident there is no danger to the general public.
