Brattleboro Memorial Hospital welcomes new ObGyn clinician

BRATTLEBORO — Rachel Schneider, MSN, CNM, WHNP-BC recently joined Brattleboro Ob/Gyn as a board-certified nurse midwife and women's health nurse practitioner.

Schneider graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in nursing, magna cum laude, and a Master of Science in nursing, specializing in women's health and nursemidwifery.

Schneider joins Brattleboro Ob/Gyn with several years of women's health care and family planning experience. Prior to relocating to Vermont, she most recently worked at Capital Women's Group in Trenton, N.J., where she provided prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care for uninsured and Medicaid patients in the region.

"We are so pleased to welcome Rachel to BMH and the Brattleboro community," said Eilidh Pederson, vice president of Medical Group Management and Population Health at BMH, in a press release. "She will provide access to women's health care at a time where there is such a need in our region and will be an asset to the Brattleboro Ob/Gyn practice."
