'Brexit and the European Union' discussion

BRATTLEBORO — The Windham World Affairs Council is presenting Edward Cameron, Ph.D., who will speak on "Brexit and the European Union." Dr. Cameron is a specialist in European Union affairs, public policy, and climate change. His talk on climate change at the Brooks Memorial Library in October was outstanding, and the Brattleboro community is fortunate to be able to benefit from his expertise once again.

In his talk Dr. Cameron, who spent 10 years working for the EU in Brussels, will examine the causes of the BREXIT vote, assess the current negotiations, and explore the potential consequences for both the UK and EU.

The talk is free and will be followed by a Q & A. There will be coffee, tea and conversation at 6:30 p.m. Talk begins at 7 p.m., Feb. 16, at the Marlboro College Graduate Center, 28 Vernon St, Brattleboro. For more information, visit windhamworldaffairscouncil.org.
