Bullock finishes 67th at NCAA Championships

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Newfane resident Delaney Bullock placed 67th overall in a time of 22:35 at the NCAA Division 3 women's cross-country championships on Saturday at Tom Sawyer Park.

Ithaca's Parley Hannan finished first in the 6k race in 20:53. Genny Corcoran (SUNY Geneseo) and Isabel Cardi (Dickinson) rounded out the top three.

Johns Hopkins won the team event with 125 points. Washington U. was next with 138 points and Williams took third with 168 points.

Bullock, who is a sophomore at Bowdoin College in Maine, qualified for the race by finishing 13th in the New England meet in 21:55 on Nov. 16.

While attending The Putney School, she won the Division 3 state cross-country championship meet as a junior and a senior. She also struck gold in the 1500 and earned silver in the 3000 at the state track meet as a senior.
