Chieftains zip BF girls

WESTMINSTER — Micah White scored four minutes in and the Green Mountain varsity girls soccer team cruised to a 6-0 victory over Bellows Falls on Monday.

Goalie Breanna Donahue made a dozen saves for BF. Madi Pencek glanced a shot off of the crossbar for her team's best chance.

Bellows Falls (1-7) will play at Windsor on Friday at 4 p.m.

Youth Hockey

BRATTLEBORO — The Brattleboro Hockey Association's Mites played two recent games in a jamboree at the Olympia Ice Center. Ethan Ahnert scored four goals and Colby Robinson had a hat trick when BHA took on the Keene Cobras, while Alex Fortier and Damian Bliss also played well offensively. Carson Mialkowski scored BHA's lone goal against the Nonotuck Knights and Senji Kimura was solid between the pipes.

Dimitri Seager and Ernesto Antonucci each had a couple of assists as Brattleboro's preseason high school team downed the Warriors of Franklin County, 6-2. Gabe Heiden tallied twice for the winners, while Connor Murphy, Kamron Pelkey, Ryan Gerard and Kayden Wolf also scored.

Auto Racing

WINCHESTER, N.H. — The Super Saturday Season Finale will take place on Saturday at Monadnock Speedway. The school bus rides for the kids will kick things off at 1:30 p.m., followed by racing at 2 p.m. All Monadnock divisions will be competing in their last race of the season, along with spectator races, a Big Wheels race for kids, championship ceremonies, and the Champions Go Kart Showdown.
