- Evelyn Williams, of Brattleboro, was named to the Dean's list for the 2019 spring semester at Norwich University in Northfield. Students must earn a GPA of at least 3.4 to be named to the Dean's List.

- McKenzie Brandon, of Saxtons River, won the Lyman Rowell Outstanding Senior in Music Award at the University of Vermont's College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony held May 17. The award is given annually to a graduating senior who has made superior contributions to the musical life of the department.

- John Shaw, of Brattleboro, Receives The Charles Doll Award won The Charles Doll Award at the University of Vermont's College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony held May 17.

- Alana Redden, of South Newfane, won The Ellen Hamilton and Lida Mason Award at the University of Vermont's College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony held May 17. The award honors academic excellence in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies at UVM.

- Brattleboro: Samantha Van Nostrand, of Brattleboro, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health promotion studies from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Conn.

- Danielle Wood, of Putney, has been named to the Dean's List for the 2019 spring semester at Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. Wood is studying therapeutic recreation. Students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher to be named to the Dean's List.

- Cesar Augusto Rabello Borges Filho, of Brattleboro, has been named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.H. Filbo is in the biomedical engineering program. Students must earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher to be named to the Dean's List.

- Benjamin Knapp, of Guilford, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the School of Science & Engineering at Tulane University in New Orleans, La., on May 18.

- Trinna T. Larsen, of Putney, was awarded Faculty Honors for the 2019 spring semester at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. Faculty Honors are awarded to students with a GPA of at least 3.6.

- Scott Harris, of Brattleboro, received a master's degree in curriculum and instruction at UMass in Lowell, Mass.

- Jason Frederick, of Brattleboro, has earned a PSYD degree in psychology from Springfield College in Springfield, Mass.

- Joel Moylan, from Chesterfield, N.H., graduated from Central Methodist University in Fayette, Mo., in May. Moylan studied online and earned a Master of Science in mathematics.

- The following area students graduated from the Vermont Tech Practical Nursing program this spring: Ivy Bingham, Tana Cutting, Iyla MacArthur, Christina Quinn, Rebecca Snow and Matthew Wright; Mariah Barnett of Saxtons River; Sage Hall of Newfane; Erin Hammond of Williamsville; Emily Mleczko of Putney; Abigail Molina of Westminster;Lauren Punger of Bellows Falls; Alexus Vergobbe of Vernon; Ashley Flint of Chesterfield, N.H.
