BRATTLEBORO — The Brattleboro Union High School varsity field hockey team was blanked by Burr and Burton 4-0 on Monday at Tenney Field.

"We did not play with much intensity. Burr and Burton scored seven minutes into the game and that set the tempo for the game. They were quicker than we were and won most of the 50-50 balls to gain possession," said BUHS co-coach Sheryl Libardoni.

Kaylyn Bailey made 11 saves for the host Colonels.

"Most of the play was in Brattleboro's defensive end," added coach Libardoni, whose team dropped to 1-4 on the season.
