Fish: It's time for all of us to put our collective foot down

Gold Star Idiot. That's what we have for a president. This guy can't do anything right. Nothing. He is 110 percent a sociopath. He lacks conscience and empathy and he exhibits extreme anti-social behavior and, to make matters worse, he's running the country.

I write roughly four columns a month and I ask this question at least three times each month: What is our breaking point? When do we as a society say, you know what? That wasn't right; you can't ignore the fact that four of our best soldiers went down in battle because it's inconvenient and messes up your tee time. But when you do call, you can't for one minute feign interest in the conversation? You can't write a note to yourself reminding you of the name of the fallen soldier? You can't make a note to remind yourself of the name of the women you're calling to console? Instead you call him "your guy." How hard is it to write down the name so you have it as a quick reference? Here's your answer — it's not.

Anybody who has been interviewed by me on my radio program will tell you that I write down their name. It's just something you do to not come off sounding like an idiot. But we are talking about the Idiot in Chief, so I guess we shouldn't expect any less.

But let's not forget, he has a long history of attacking those that have given their all to this country; those who have sacrificed beyond my comprehension. For example: Sen. John McCain, prisoner of war for five-and-a-half years, living in absolute hell and left physically incapable of lifting his hands over his head. President Trumpty Dumpty decides that he would take a shot at McCain by saying, "I like people that don't get captured." I would love to see Trump in one-tenth of the danger that McCain was in and watch him fold like a house of cards. Because that is what a spineless turd would do — fold.

Then he attacked the Khans. Remember that? Please don't forget that the Combover Kid went after that Gold Star Family for expressing their freedom of speech. Yet, this Tiny Handed Tyrant will go after those that have laid down their lives, or the families that are left behind, and somehow manage to win an election. How exactly does that happen? How far have we fallen?

So why would it surprise you that he would pooch this play too? Honestly, it's like someone left the door open to the asylum and he hopped into a Russian-built Lada and was dropped off at the people's house. It begs the question, if it's that easy to "install" a president why can't it be that easy to uninstall him?

Then the moron does what he does best and takes his war to Twitter, because social media is where the adults talk. Trump said on Twitter "I had a very respectful conversation with the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, and spoke his name from beginning, without hesitation!" That was in response to the wife of La David Johnson's (Myeshia Johnson) saying, "If my husband is out here fighting for our country and he risked his life for our country, why can't you remember his name?" Myeshia, he can't remember La David's name because he's a racist, a horrible human, a sociopath and completely void of human feelings.

Should we be surprised? Nope. We should, however, be more motivated than ever to rise up and get into the fight. We should be calling everyone we can every single day. Anyone who is in some sort of political power in your town, county and country. This needs to get turned up to 11, and it needs to stop. I can take a lot, but when you're being two-faced about how much you love our military and then insult those that have given the most, it's time to put your foot down.

To Myeshia, I would like to apologize that this man even called you. Please know that good people are working hard to extract him from power. Also, Myeshia Johnson, I am deeply sorry for the loss of your husband; he served this country bravely and this country is behind you. To your two children and your unborn child, I am sorry that they might only know the stories of the great man that their father clearly was.

Nothing I say can ease your grief, I only hope that they can bring you peace. But, that's over 140 characters. So, I guess the Gold Star Idiot can't say it! What the hell is up with that?
