WEST TOWNSHEND — West River Community Market is accepting online orders up until 10 p.m. Wednesday, for Saturday's market.

This week's market features smoked kielbasa, Italian sausage, frankfurters, and bratwurst; an abundance of beautiful heads of lettuce; new bulk items; and natural insect repellent to keep those bugs away while you are outside. Check out the catalog of local veggies, meat, baked goods, health care products, flowers and artisan crafts. Litchfield Homestead is the featured vendor with homegrown, delicious pork cuts, homemade soap, new weekly old-fashioned sodas, and more. Ther featured product is Leaping Bear Farm's pasture-raised organic whole chickens.

Order before 10 p.m. Wednesday for Saturday pickup. There is a free, volunteer-run delivery for high-risk customers. If you need help paying for your order or if you'd like to help a neighbor pay for theirs, check out the Pay-It-Forward Program.

The West River Community Market is a partnership project between the West River Community Project (WRCP) and the Townshend Farmers Market.
