Senior Lunch

Guilford: The Guilford Senior Lunch, sponsored by Senior Solutions, will take place at noon on Friday at the Guilford Community Church. The menu includes sweet potato salad, fake steak and corn bread confetti salad, with tropical dump cake for dessert. A donation of $3.50 for seniors is asked. Books will be available on loan from the Guilford Free Library. For more information and to make reservations, call 802-254-9774 no later than Wednesday.

Dam Diner Chef

Townshend: Everyone is invited to dinner at noon at the Townshend Church on Thursday. Sponsored by Senior Solutions, the meal is prepared by the Townshend Dam Diner's Chef Stephanie. Suggested donation for people age 60 and up is $3.50; all others $4. Take-outs will be available. Free blood pressure screening will be offered from 11:30 a.m., provided by Visiting Nurse/Hospice of Vermont/New Hampshire.

Benefit Breakfast

Jacksonville: Friends and family are getting together to host a benefit pancake breakfast for Chris Stoughton and his family on Saturday at the Jacksonville Municipal Center directly across from the Jacksonville Post Office on Route 100. Donations for the breakfast will be $8 for adults. Children between the ages of 5 to 10 will be $5 and children under 5 will be free. The menu will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, muffins, orange juice and coffee. Community Lunch

West Brattleboro: The West Brattleboro Baptist Church, 979 Western Ave., will host a free community luncheon from noon to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 30. The menu includes roasted sliced ham, potato salad, green beans, bread, fruit, dessert, and choice of beverage. Everyone is welcome.
