Concert: Renaissance Men
Renaissance Men, New England's professional male vocal chamber ensemble, has announced their fourth annual "A Very RenMen Holiday" concert. This year's holiday tradition has expanded to a three-city tour in Manchester, Conn (Sunday, Dec. 9 ), Brattleboro (Thursday, Dec.13), and Newton, Mass. (Friday, Dec. 14).
Renaissance Men will feature traditional classical music for the season, original compositions, and, of course, more cheese than a Cabot Creamery Sampler! Cherished carols and seasonal songs, arrangements of Christmas favorites in close harmonies, and new favorites by today's hottest composers — Saunder Choi, Paul John Rudoi, Jan Wilke, and the return of a new work for men's voices by our composer-in-residence, Daniel E. Gawthrop (which was also featured at Boston's Emmanuel Music last December). And who could forget our rousing rendition of "Frosty the Snowman" which was featured on BuzzFeed and has been viewed over 11,000 times on Facebook?Plenty of good cheer in our favorite musical feast! We hope you will join us in welcoming the most wonderful time of the year. For more information visit renmenmusic.com or find us on Facebook, YouTube, or Instagram, @renmenmusic.
