Death metal band out of New Hampshire, will be playing an album release concert Friday, 7 to 11:30 p.m., at The Stone Church 210 Main St., Brattleboro, $5 at the door, Also, Xenosis, Goldenhall and Vaulted

Solium Fatalis's brand of extreme metal began with the independent release of their 2013 self-titled full length album featuring production by Fredrik Nordstrom (At The Gates, Dimmu Borgir) and stunning artwork by Seth Siro Anton (Exodus, Paradise Lost, Septicflesh).

BRATTLEBORO — Not ones to sit idle for long, the band quickly released 2015's "The Undying Season" which demonstrated a clear evolution in sound and style. Thus began their partnership with producer Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, The Agonist, Beyond Creation) and artist Pierre-Alain D.@3mmi, who went on to engineer and illustrate the band's 2016 release "Neuronic Saw" and now their upcoming fourth album, "Genetically Engineered to Enslave" in which they bring 10 tracks and over 40 minutes of music.

"Genetically Engineered to Enslave" features guest vocals by Matt McGachy (Cryptopsy) and Haydee Irizarry (Aversed, Carnivora) as well as a guest guitar solo by Phil Tougas (First Fragment, Chthe'ilist). Throughout the record, Solium Fatalis discuss genetic engineering and artificial intelligence and their inevitable relationship with the cessation of humanity.

Solium Fatalis is comprised of Jeff DeMarco (bass, vocals), Jim Gregory (guitar), Ryan Beevers (guitar) and Jeff Saltzman (drums), the alchemy of whom creates a whirlwind of unparalleled blackened death metal.
