Crowell Gallery features 'Imagination'

NEWFANE — The exhibit for the month of June at the Crowell Gallery is "Imagination" by Robert Askey on view through June 30. There will be an artist reception on Saturday, June 9, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Moore Free Library, 23 West St. The show is called imagination because everything hanging in the gallery is the product of the artist's memory and imagination. you will see a multi-media exhibit containing water color, oil, pen and ink, graphite and mixed media work on display. The show content ranges from etchings of serious situations to a variety of water color whimsical moments. Over the past few years Askey has won many awards in competitive art exhibitions throughout New England. For more information about Askey visit

Gallery hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 1 to 5 p.m., Thursday, 2 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free and open to the public.
