CVU girls defeat Colonels

BRATTLEBORO — The Brattleboro Union High School varsity girls ice hockey team lost to Champlain Valley Union 4-1 on Wednesday at Memorial Park.

Liv Romo scored a second-period goal for the hosts, assisted by Tobin Lonergan.

Nicole Wright, Riley Erdman, Kayleigh Bushweller and Samara Tucker all lit the lamp for the winners. Flynn Hall set a couple of goals up.

It was the first loss in four games for the 4-5 Colonels.
