Darrow named partner at local law firm

BRATTLEBORO — Amelia W.L. Darrow was recently named a partner at the law firm of Corum Mabie Cook Prodan Angell Secrest & Darrow, PLC.

She joins partners John C. Mabie, Joseph F. Cook, Samuel H. Angell and Jonathan D. Secrest. Attorney Angela J. Prodan is Of Counsel to the firm.

Darrow is a graduate of Vermont Law School, the School for International Training, Marlboro College and The Putney School. She is admitted to practice law in Vermont and Massachusetts. Her practice areas focus on probate administration, estates and trust law, elderlaw and guardianships, real estate, business law and intellectual property. With a background in both for-profit, not-for- profit and NGO work, she brings a depth of real-world experience to her law practice.

Darrow has lived, studied and worked in southern Vermont for many years. She has also lived in The Netherlands and South Asia. She currently serves on several area boards including the Brattleboro Area Chamber of Commerce, The Gathering Place, and the Windham County Bar Association. She is the current President of the Next Stage Arts Project in Putney.
