BELLOWS FALLS — There will be a presentation on Underwater Treasures from Adams Grist Mill to Walpole (N.H.), Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Bellows Falls Opera House, 7 Square.
The program will feature: Gordon Crandell, retired Vermont archaeologist and Abenaki Native, presenting the Largest Native American Artifact Collection in New England; Gail Golec, forensic anthropologist, Geological and Human History of the Area; Annette Spaulding, a scuba diver who has done several programs for the Chesterfield Historical Society in the past, will discuss three recent Connecticut River discoveries.
This program is being held to benefit Adams Grist Mill roof repair. General admission is $10, and there will be a cash bar and a Silent Auction.
