BRATTLEBORO — All donations to the Kids in Coats Fund of the United Way of Windham County support local families by providing winter outerwear for children. All money raised is spent at local participating stores through Kids in Coats vouchers. As of Jan. 16, the Kids in Coats Fund has raised $10,725.25, or 27 percent of the $40,000 goal for next year's program.

Here are the donations received during the week of Jan. 10:

$50 - Wishing you a warm new year. In memory of Ed Hurley. From Jane Hurley.

$100 - Windham County Dental Center Employees.

$25 - Anonymous, for all the children who need coats.

There were also anonymous donations in the following amounts: one for $25 and two for $50.
