Explore Dummerston stone pound with the town historical society

Dan Snow, one of the nation's premier dry stone wall builders and master craftsmen, who also happens to be a Dummerston resident, will talk about Dry Stone Town Pounds and the history and making of the Dummerston town pound at the Dummerston Historical Society quarterly meeting Thursday at 1509 Middle Road.

Explore the history of Dummerston's town pound and take a walk around the dry stone pound next to the Dummerston Historical Society Schoolhouse. A brief business meeting at 7 p.m. will precede the 7:30 p.m. program.

The Historical Society is handicapped accessible; all events are free of charge, one need not be a member to attend. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, call 802-254-9311.
